RAINBOW FRIEND
I don’t care if you’re red or green, purple, or pink or blue.
The person I love lives inside the friend that I call you. Refrain:
Sing a song to the rainbow
Sing to how the colours blend.
Shout out loud that we’re not the same
But we can still be friends.
I really don’t mind if you’re short or tall or somewhere in between
When you smile, you’re the most beautiful person I’ve ever seen. Refrain:
If you’re young or old, that’s not all I see; a woman, man, girl or boy.
I only know that to call you friend gives to me great joy. Refrain:
Your shape and size have a story to tell for there’s no one quite like you.
But I can’t forget, the person inside tells a story, too.
Sing a song to the rainbow
Sing to how the colours blend.
Shout out loud that we’re not the same
But we can still be friends.
Shout out loud that we’re not the same
But we can still be friends!
